Transbiaga begins the work of construction of the wind farm Palo Alto in MexicoWith a delay of almost 6 months from the initial plan, the 18th july Transbiaga will begin the work of construction of the wind farm Palo Alto in Mexico, particularly in the State of Jalisco.

Enel Green Power (EGP), promoter of the project, provides for an investment of approximately 250 million dollars.

Once operational, the park will have a total capacity of 129 megawatts installed, being able to generate more than 350 gigawatt hours per year.

With 43 three-megawatt wind turbines each, the annual emission of about 200,000 tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere will be avoided.

It is expected to be completed and commissioned in the second half of 2016.
