Transbiaga is awarded the lifting and assembly services in the construction of a 56 MW wind farm in Baja California Sur. The Corumel wind farm will be located in the state of Baja California Sur, about 40 kilometers from its capital, La Paz and will consist of 20 wind turbines of 2.8 MW each, provided by General Electric, in addition, 20 km of road accesses and more will be built 20 km of overhead and underground medium voltage networks.
The region is characterized by generating its energy from fossil fuels, a situation mainly caused by the increase in tourism, which in turn has triggered an increase in energy demand that the current system has not been able to meet.
