New wind farm "Dolores" of 244MW 2019/02/01

Just on September 4, the El Cortijo wind farm in Reynosa was launched, with a production of 183 MW, being the first renewable installation derived from the Energy Reform to complete its start-up under the new energy regime. Wholesale Electricity Market (MEM) and following 2019 at Mexico, Transbiaga maintains and reinforces its presence in that country.
Specifically, the "Mesa de la Paz" wind farm will be built in the village of Llera, in the State of Tamaulipas, starting the activity next February.
This project will be developed to generate 306 Mega Watts and will provide clean and sustainable energy capable of supplying about 580,000 homes, and is expected to come into operation in 2021.

Likewise, the construction of the “Dolores” wind farm of 244 megawatts (MW) in the village of China, in the state of Nuevo León, will begin shortly.
It is expected that the Dolores wind farm will start operating in the first half of 2020. Once it is fully operational, the wind farm will be able to generate approximately 850 gigawatts per hour, avoiding the annual emission of around 470,000 tons of CO2 to the atmosphere. The Dolores Wind Farm includes the installation of around 83 wind turbines and 79 kilometers of transmission lines.
