TRANSBIAGA participates in one of the most important projects of Acciona Energia in 2025, the repowering of the Tahivilla Wind Farm, in the municipality of Tarifa, Cadiz, Spain, where 98 turbines of 50m hub height and 800kW each, of a project installed in 2004, will be dismantled and 13 turbines of up to 159m high and 7mW of unitary power will be installed.
The replacement of the old wind turbines with last generation turbines will increase the total power of the project from 78.4MW to 84.4MW.
Acciona Energía has trusted TRANSBIAGA for the installation of this new project or repowering, and will use its crane and assembly equipment for this purpose, thus providing a complete package service until the turbine is delivered turnkey and ready for operation.
