As a consequence of the new policy of priorities of the Argentine government to ensure a stable long-term electricity supply and the diversification of its energy matrix, Transbiaga has received the award for the construction of the wind farms of La Castellana and Achiras.
The park of La Castellana will be located in the town of Bahía Blanca and will consist of 32 wind turbines that will mount the model of turbine AW3000 while the park of Achiras will be located in the department of Rio Cuarto and will consist of 15 wind turbines of the same model of turbine.
Both parks are scheduled to be operational by the end of 2018.
